Graph paper and a pencil are your best friend when designing memes with photo editing software.
What is the purpose of your meme? Who is the audience?
Take a second and sketch out an idea.
Choose a Classic Meme Template
You can use Google Images and search “blank meme template”
Pick one that matches your purpose and audience. Here are some examples
Right click on the image and save it.
Edit the Image
Go to Pixlr.com and make an account. You can use GIMP or Photoshop as well.
Upload the Image
Add a Text Layer
Add a Shape Layer
Rearrange Layers
Choose Fonts and Colors
