+Introduce the book (Genre and age range): This book is for children ages 3-5

+Summary: This book was published in 1981, and is a collection of short poems. Each poem has an illustration also created by Shel Silverstein. The poems can range from aiming at a child's peeves, spooks or silliness. There are also some twists on familiar rhymes and tales.
 +
+Favorite Part: My favorite part is the opening poem //A Light in the Attic.// I think it is very mysterious and makes the reader want to read on. It is so simple, but catches your attention.
