The Recess Queen

This is a picture book about a bully at recess for prek-k and grades 1-2

There is a recess bully Mean Jean who was the queen of recess and nobody did anything until she did. One day a new student came into class Katie Sue who decides to change things during recess.

My favorite part was when Katie Sue went out to recess and played and did whatever she wanted.

I would recommend this book because it teaches kids about bullying and that it is wrong. It also teaches kids to include everyone at recess and not leave anyone out and that kindness can change a person for the better.
